Job summary

Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a fully qualified NPLQ lifeguard to join a dedicated team at the leisure centre. The role focuses on ensuring customer safety and delivering high standards of service and customer care while working across the pool environment, in a part-time capacity of 15.24 hours per week.

The position involves setting up equipment for programmed activities, carrying out cleaning tasks to keep the centre spotless, and engaging in ongoing monthly training.

Qualifications

• Must be NPLQ qualified and demonstrate competency.
• Customer-focused, vigilant and able to supervise poolside operations.
• Team player with good communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Constant supervision of the poolside to ensure safety.
• Set up equipment to meet the needs of programmed activities.
• Undertake cleaning tasks to keep the centre presented to a high standard.
• Attend ongoing monthly training sessions.
