Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR Bristol is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Specialist to lead procurement for multiple NPI projects. You will source prototype and production parts, manage supplier relationships and ensure alignment with project cost, quality and delivery targets.

The role requires experience in engineering/manufacturing environments, strong stakeholder management, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. 12-month fixed-term contract, Bristol location.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain within engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting NPI or engineering-led projects.
• Experience sourcing prototype and production components.
• Strong supplier sourcing, selection and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as procurement lead across concurrent engineering and NPI projects.
• Manage supplier and material sourcing to meet project timescales and cost targets.
• Coordinate with Design/Manufacturing Engineering and governance teams.
• Develop production supply chains ahead of product launches.
• Prepare vendor selection and sourcing documentation and business cases.
• Maintain project plans, dashboards and schedules.
