Job Opportunity: NPI Quality Engineer

Amoria Bond is currently hiring for an NPI Quality Engineer for an initial 6-month contract with one of our automotive clients based in the West Midlands (on-site). The contract is outside IR35.

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry. Suitable candidates should demonstrate experience in confirming specifications related to performance, quality, durability, and fault-finding of automotive components. The ideal candidate will also show the ability to self-manage and have a proven track record in project control.

Skills and Experience:
  1. NPI (New Product Introduction)
  2. Background in Tier 1 automotive engineering
  3. Minimum of 5 years' quality engineering experience
  4. PPAP / APQP / FMEA
  5. IATF16949 / ISO9001 certifications
  6. TS16949
  7. Knowledge of metal forming and fabrication processes
  8. Experience with BIW, chassis, or structural parts is preferred
Educational Requirements:
  1. Minimum HNC level in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline
  2. QA qualification (e.g., IQA/CQI) is advantageous but not essential

The initial contract duration is 6 months, with potential for extension based on performance and workload.
