Job Introduction

We are seeking an experienced NPI Project Leader to coordinate and manage the execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with customer deliverables. Acting as the key contact for customers, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of safety, quality, training, and development aspects. Your leadership will drive projects forward, address challenges, and deliver outstanding results.

Requirements:
Essential:
  • A technical degree or equivalent experience in technical or managerial roles.
  • Strong project management skills with proven success in project execution.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of API manufacturing, chemical safety, cGMP requirements, and cost efficiency.
Desirable:
  • Effective planning and organizational skills for project management.
  • Knowledge of commercialization processes for APIs, including process development, scale-up, and regulatory considerations.
  • Experience with technology transfer projects.
  • Green Belt certification or willingness to pursue it, with an interest in continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of analytical activities in NPI projects.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Project Management:
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to coordinate project activities.
  • Engage actively in daily management to track project status.
  • Escalate issues to senior leadership and propose recovery actions when necessary.
Customer Coordination:
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Manage scope change requests, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
Risk Management:
  • Create and maintain a project risk register and implement mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
