The Opportunity

We're working with a leading electronics manufacturer to recruit an NPI Engineer. This is a pivotal role within their engineering team, supporting new product introductions and driving process excellence within a high-tech PCB manufacturing environment.

The Role
  • Act as the process owner for new orders and ensure robust DFM/DFX processes.
  • Review technical requirements during bid/quote phases.
  • Define and verify process flows at a granular level.
  • Produce technical instructions and tooling for production support.
  • Collaborate with production, planning, and quality teams to deliver successful NPI and production orders.
  • Support new manufacturing techniques, capital equipment, and test processes.
  • Work closely with customers on processes such as ICT/production test.
What You\'ll Bring
  • Background in process controls and best practice in electronics manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of SMT processes - highly desirable.
  • Understanding of PCBA production - desirable.
  • Familiarity with ICT and functional test.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards.
  • Experience with process flows, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with teams, customers, and suppliers.
Desirable
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Familiarity with TQM/continuous improvement
  • Experience with AS9100 standards
