My client, a friendly and expanding food manufacturing company, is looking to fill a newly created role for an NPD & Technical Compliance Technologist. The successful candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and have proven experience in the food industry. They must hold a valid Food Safety certification and possess a full UK driving licence. This role is essential in supporting the company's innovation pipeline, so the candidate should have experience in New Product Development, including designing, developing, and improving products while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with legal standards.

Main Responsibilities:

3. QAS Management
4. Supplier Approval Management
5. Specifications & Labelling
6. Internal Audits
7. Taste Panels and Organoleptic Assessments
8. Best Practices & Compliance

Additional Duties:

Carry out other responsibilities as directed by the Head of Technical, Operations Manager, or Operations Director, within your scope of competence.

This role offers a salary of £35,000 and benefits including pension, free parking, discounted or free food, and casual dress. The position may suit someone with previous experience as an NPD Technologist, NPD Manager, or in a similar role, and is commutable from Dorchester, Yeovil, Shepton Mallet, Bruton, Wincanton, Blandford Forum, Shaftesbury, Taunton, and Meare.
