We have two new and exciting positions for New Product Development (NPD) Technologists.
Collaborating with large well-established retailers, the role will manage customer accounts and expectations by leading communication with customers and delivering new products that are innovative, of the highest quality, and market leading.
You will be responsible for driving consumer-led product development projects to meet customer expectations and managing development projects from concept through to launch.
You will support the NPD controllers in striving to continuously improve the service provided by Panesar Foods and help ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards within agreed timelines and commercial parameters set by both internal departments and external customers.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Industry-recognised food technical qualification—HND/degree or equivalent.
Aware of new market trends.
Analytics reporting.
Experience of working within NPD.
Working within a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintaining company quality standards, ensuring compliance with standards (including local standards), policies, safety requirements, and applicable country laws.
Leading projects and communicating effectively across cross-functional teams.
Participating in customer-related groups, e.g., product teams, factory meetings, sales, marketing, and application-related groups.
Managing critical paths efficiently to successfully launch products.
Keeping up to date with new ingredients and packaging formats to identify opportunities for NPD and EPD.
Monitoring new ingredients and materials to ensure NPD and technical procedures are followed correctly.
Having experience in a kitchen development environment and knowledge of ingredient functions and compounds.
Conducting product benchmarking and sensory analysis.
Researching and brainstorming new product concepts and ideas professionally for customers.
Understanding product costings to develop and launch successful products.
