Job summary

Barker Ross is recruiting for a Technical Support Manager in Leicester to lead the full development lifecycle of new and existing cosmetic product ranges. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full New Product Development and Existing Product Development process.
• Ensure projects and product launches are delivered within agreed customer timescales.
• Create, review and maintain accurate customer product specifications.
• Manage chemical, packaging and raw material specifications.
• Review and approve product artwork against technical and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate product trials, pre-launch testing and packaging validation.
• Conduct competitor product analysis and communicate relevant findings to internal teams.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation for cosmetic products.
• Ensure chemical documentation meets relevant ethical accreditation requirements.
• Work closely with site and group quality teams to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Support the preparation and completion of internal and external audits.
• Conduct and document metal detector validation for new products.
• Maintain complete and traceable raw material documentation.
• Respond to technical customer queries within agreed timescales.
• Identify opportunities to improve products, processes and technical procedures.
