Job Description

Thrive Group is working with a market-leading company based in Frome, actively seeking to hire a NPD Project Manager on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the main contact for customers regarding development, optimisation, and improvement projects from brief to launch.
• Coordinating between departments to ensure smooth product launches or factory changes.
• Managing end-to-end packaging development, including process and legal checks, for both development projects and legal updates.
• Organising industrial trials, communicating results, and following up on actions and improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with production, quality, legal, and customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience in FMCG, Food manufacturing, Food transformation, or NPD.
• Strong communication skills; able to lead customer meetings confidently.
• Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Educational background in food technology or food science (preferably a degree).
