NPD Process Specialist/NPD Technologist

Based in Wakefield/Leeds area

Monday – Friday, days based, can be flexible on start times

Due to significant investment and NPD activities on a large, world-class manufacturing site, we are recruiting for an NPD Process Specialist.

About The Role

They produce and manufacture many of their own food products, staying close to customer needs. You'll be part of an exciting team creating food products, innovating new items, or perfecting existing ones, with a direct impact on customers’ tables.

As a key player in the product development team, you'll own process development projects from concept to launch, overseeing the process to ensure smooth and timely delivery. You will also manage key factory process settings to ensure products meet specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the process development, ensuring each step is carefully executed
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including retail teams and suppliers
• Manage timelines and tasks to keep projects on schedule
• Ensure documentation compliance and consistency
• Collaborate with colleagues to turn product briefs into reality
• Source raw materials, work with suppliers, and handle related paperwork
• Coordinate factory trials and oversee initial production runs for quality and consistency
• Manage factory processes to optimize line settings for high quality standards

About You

• Exceptional communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Strong project management experience in process control or NPD
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and suppliers
• Proactive, results-oriented, with enthusiasm and drive
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
