Due to significant ££ investment and NPD activities on a large, world-class manufacturing site, we have a recruitment drive for a NPD Process Specialist.

About The Role

They are proud to produce and manufacture many of their own food products, helping them stay close to their customers' needs. You'll be part of an exciting team that creates delicious food products. Whether it's innovating new items or perfecting existing ones, your work will have a direct impact on our customers’ tables.

As a key player in their product development team, you’ll take ownership of process development projects. From concept ideas to launching them in stores, you’ll oversee the process, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing key factory process settings to ensure the product is manufactured to the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Own the Process: Lead the development journey, ensuring every step is delivered with care.
  2. Communicate Effectively: Keep all stakeholders, from retail teams to suppliers, informed about project progress.
  3. Manage Timelines: Keep projects on schedule, akin to a seasoned project manager.
  4. Attention to Detail: Ensure all documentation complies with regulations and maintains consistency.
  5. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with colleagues to turn product briefs into reality, exceeding customer expectations.
  6. Work with Suppliers: Source raw materials, collaborate with suppliers, and handle necessary paperwork.
  7. Factory Involvement: Coordinate factory trials and oversee initial production runs to ensure quality and consistency.
  8. Process Management: Manage factory line settings to uphold high-quality standards.

About You

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of inspiring and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management experience, especially in Process control and NPD, from concept to launch.
  • Relationship-building skills to maintain strong connections with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Enthusiasm and drive to proactively push projects forward.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

In return, they offer:

  • 15% staff discount in stores from day one.
  • Additional 10% discount card for friends or family.
  • Career development and progression opportunities.
  • Subsidised staff canteen, free parking, and market-leading pension and life assurance.
  • Healthcare benefits, including Aviva Digital GP, and discounts through MyPerks.
  • Long Service Awards, optional payroll charity donations, and enhanced family/maternity/parental leave.
