Job summary

Thistle Seafoods Ltd is seeking an NPD Process Assistant to join their team focused on developing new market-ready products. The role includes responsibilities like managing daily taste panels, assisting factory trials, and liaising with the NPD Manager. Ideal candidates should have kitchen experience and a passion for results.

• Taking care of the Daily Taste Panel & EOL evaluation.
• Assisting in the running and organising of factory trials.
• Packaging and sending samples of products to customers.
• Organising and completing cooking instructions for new & existing products.
• Organising and completing new product shelf-life for organoleptic.
• Sending samples for nutritional analysis.
• Maintaining all relevant paperwork.
• Liaising with and assisting the NPD Manager and Development Chef.
• Helping to keep the NPD kitchen and areas in the factory clean, tidy and well organized.

The NPD Process Assistant will work as part of a team who are focused on creating and developing new market ready products for current and new customers. To achieve this the post holder must have a sound knowledge of the Company’s current products. A key requirement will therefore be having a sound understanding of the production process.
