Zusammenfassung

Asahi Glassplant UK Ltd seeks an experienced NPD Mechanical Design Engineer to turn innovation into manufacturable products, optimizing DFMA and ensuring successful industrialisation of NPIs.

You will collaborate with R&D, production, quality, and supply chain teams to maintain stable, capable processes that meet stringent electro-mechanical standards. Hybrid role with international travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in electro-mechanical design engineering, preferably in medical devices.
• Proven track record delivering concept to manufacturing with DFMA focus.
• Advanced CAD modelling with SolidWorks; capable of interpreting complex drawings.

Aufgaben

• Turn R&D innovation into a manufacturable product with DFMA emphasis.
• Lead NPI from R&D to Manufacturing, ensuring CE/EMC compliance.
• Develop tooling, jigs, fixtures, and measurement systems for production.
• Lead product enclosure design with EMI/EMC considerations.
• Provide technical training to the Manufacturing team.
