Job summary

PrepWorld Ltd is seeking an NPD Manager on a maternity cover contract in Northfleet, reporting to the Senior Insights, NPD and Marketing Manager. The role focuses on identifying and developing NPD, EPD and Blue Sky opportunities, building key customer relationships, and delivering an innovative product pipeline in collaboration with the sales team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a Product Development role, ideally in Food Manufacturing (essential).
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to interpret market data and translate into NPD.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication across multiple internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify & develop NPD, EPD & Blue Sky/Innovation opportunities for PrepWorld and customers.
• Lead NPD projects from concept to launch with commercial sign-off requirements.
• Collaborate with Category Insight Team to plan short- and long-term product roadmaps.
• Prepare and share best practice NPD guidelines and ensure compliance with internal processes.
• Benchmark products and drive improvements to maximise margins and value.
