Job summary
Shellworks in London is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to accelerate the uptake of Vivomer products into the market. You will lead technical execution of multiple new product development projects and bridge the gap between commercial and technical teams to ensure feasible, scalable designs for millions of units.
The ideal candidate holds a Masters in Mechanical/Design/Manufacturing Engineering or Product Design Engineering, with 2+ years in physical product development, strong CAD/DFM/DFM
Qualifications
- Holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Product Design Engineering.
- Has 2 years of industry experience in physical product development.
- Is highly skilled in 3D Modelling, Technical Drawing, CAM, DFM, DFA, Simulation, Sketching, Rendering.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical execution of multiple new product development projects, bridging commercial and technical teams.
- Apply engineering and design principles to solve problems and overcome barriers.
- Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure designs can be produced at scale.
