Develop your career in the procurement team where you’ll be responsible for supporting the team to source new raw materials for a food manufacturer.

As NPD Buyer/Procurement Administrator, you’ll report directly to the Head of Procurement for a world leader that produces over 25% of their specialty products for global consumption.

This leading food manufacturing business supplies the UK’s #1 branded products in their category and distributes nationally to Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and ASDA, along with high street restaurants and food outlets.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for providing an effective and efficient procurement service to business stakeholders in sourcing new raw materials.
You’ll work closely with the NPD and Procurement teams to ensure effective sourcing, best value, MOQ, lead times, etc.

You’ll promote the use of the preferred supplier list and help deliver procurement strategic sourcing plans, manage NPD briefs, quotations for new raw materials, and timely sample requests. You’ll assist in onboarding new suppliers, approving new raw materials, and supplier onboarding processes.

Collaborating with the Technical team is also vital, ensuring that new raw materials are compliant and have the necessary technical documentation.

The role is office-based, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
