About the Job:

Main duties of the job

The Health Care Assistant (HCA) role is to provide support to the Theatre Team by undertaking circulating duties in the operating theatre and supporting the patient during the perioperative phase, while delivering a high standard of individualised patient care under the supervision of registered team members. You will communicate effectively and empathically with patients and their relatives/carers during this vulnerable part of the care process. The HCA will also assist in outpatient clinics.
