About the Job: Health Care Assistant needed in NHS Jobs
  • Are you ambitious and have an interest in caring for vulnerable adults? Would you like to earn up to £12.50 per hour within the first 12 to 18 months, and learn valuable specialised clinical skills? Our fast-track Care Assistant programme is now open to new applicants, with all specialised training provided.
    • You will start as a Care Assistant and learn essential care skills in the first three months. Upon completion, you will obtain your Care Skills Certificate, recognised nationwide.
    • You will then learn how to care for patients with tracheostomies. Once trained and competent, your hourly rate will increase.
    • Finally, you will learn to care for ventilated patients. After training and competence, your hourly rate will rise to £12.50 or more, with annual salary reviews at Fairlie Healthcare.
Main duties of the job
  • Meet the personal care needs of Residents professionally and compassionately, adhering to the Homes' core values and the Skills for Care Code of Conduct for Health and Social Care Workers.
  • Complete documentation promptly, including personal care charts, and escalate concerns about Residents’ health and wellbeing to the nurse in charge.
  • Perform other tasks as instructed by the nurse in charge of the shift.
