Health Care Assistant – Doncaster, South Yorkshire, UK

Salary: £24,625 to £25,674 per annum

Position: Part-time – 18 hours per week, Permanent

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to work within our integrated sexual health service. We are looking for someone who enjoys working within the field of Sexual Health, Contraception, and HIV-related care. Candidates must possess a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent healthcare qualification and have experience working in a recognized healthcare setting. Candidates should have an interest in working with a diverse client group of all ages, genders, and nationalities. Essential skills include:

• Working within a healthcare discipline. Venepuncture is a key skill (training will be provided).
• Basic IT skills and excellent record-keeping skills.
• Good English written and communication skills.
• Undertaking Microscopy (training will be provided).

Full training and support will be provided to acquire the specialized skills required for this position within Sexual Health. The role is primarily based at 3 High Fishergate, Doncaster, with additional duties at four part-time community clinics and outreach services.
