About the Job:

Main duties of the job

Your main responsibility will be to work as part of a multi-professional team to support registered nurses and allied healthcare professionals in delivering clinical and therapeutic care to service users.

This includes contributing to the holistic assessment of service users by assisting clinical staff in the assessment and treatment of patients referred to our services.

Additionally, it is your duty to provide and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all patients and carers, and seek further advice from trained staff if an emergency arises.

Qualifications
Essential
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Care Certificate
Experience
Essential
  • Experience in providing care in a healthcare or social setting
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of service users with diverse communication needs and cultural backgrounds
  • Experience of direct patient care in a health or social care setting
Desirable
  • Experience in Community Nursing and demonstrated Community Nursing skills
  • Experience in Community Rehabilitation
