Job summary

31 Hours per week, 12 months fixed term/secondment opportunity

The role is a band 3 HCA within a busy Ophthalmology department, working over 5 days with opportunities to work additional clinics. We run several clinics including medical retina, glaucoma, cataract, laser, intravitreal injection, general, and emergency clinics.

Main duties of the job

As an HCA, you will learn to check patients' visual acuity, chaperone in doctors' clinics, perform clinical observations, prepare clinic notes, and learn to perform visual fields and OCT scans.
