About the Job:

Main duties of the job

1. Work closely with the Practice Nursing team and Doctors
2. Conduct NHS Health Checks, Enhanced Health Checks, and LD Health Checks
3. Perform annual Hypertension, CKD, CHD health reviews
4. Carry out diabetic foot checks
5. Record ECGs
6. Conduct Feno Testing
7. Perform foot checks
8. Perform phlebotomy
9. Process and manage laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses
10. Assist in the assessment and surveillance of patients’ health and well-being
11. Help raise awareness of health and well-being and promote healthy practices
12. Conduct blood pressure checks
13. Administer flu and other vaccinations
14. Administer B12, Shingles, and Flu injections (with additional training)
15. Assist in chronic condition monitoring to support Chronic Disease management following practice protocols
16. Organize own workload as the main resource for Cardiovascular disease clinics, including checks for housebound and practice populations
17. Assist GPs with minor surgery procedures
