Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. is seeking a Site Manager to lead construction activities on a Nottingham site.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage day-to-day site operations, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Reporting to the Project/Contracts Manager, you will liaise with clients and stakeholders, maintain records, and drive compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple site activities.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all site operations and coordinate subcontractors.
• Ensure work is carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements.
• Manage site health and safety, ensuring full compliance with legislation and company procedures.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
• Monitor progress and report updates to the Project Manager.
• Maintain site records including daily logs, permits, and inspections.
• Control site logistics, deliveries, and material storage.
• Ensure quality standards are achieved and defects are addressed promptly.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required.
• Identify and resolve site issues to prevent delays.
