Michael Page is recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a Not For Profit in Lincoln. This permanent hybrid role supports daily financial operations and contributes to budgeting and reporting.

You will prepare management accounts, assist forecasts, ensure timely data processing, and help year-end activities while complying with financial regulations. Strong Excel and accounting software skills are essential, with study support for CIMA/ACCA/ACA.

Qualifications

• Studying towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
• Candidates who have worked in similar positions but have not studied are advised to apply!
• Able to commute to our client's office in Lincolnshire.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts and financial reports for review.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data.
