The Role

As a Norwich Pilot, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to join Babcock Mission Critical Services Onshore (BMCSO), a leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police, and offshore sectors. BMCSO provides world-class operations to our customers, helping them save lives and protect communities daily.

The position involves operating EC and EC aircraft in various roles, including HEMS and NVIS operations. The role is based in Norwich, operating on the H D3, requiring maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety.

Essential Experience

• Hours as pilot in command of twin turbine helicopters
• Or hours as co-pilot in HEMS operations, including pilot in command under supervision
• Minimum total helicopter experience
• Operational experience in twin turbine helicopters similar to the intended operation
• 20 hours VMC at night as pilot in command
• Current or recent HEMS experience
• Experience flying with Night Vision Goggles

Qualifications

• UK ATPL(H) license
• Fluent English, Driving License, Passport, Right to Work in the UK
• Qualified and instrument rated on the EC

Security Clearance

• Ability to achieve and maintain SC Clearance
• Note: Some positions require additional security vetting due to national security restrictions.
