Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Electrician for predominantly North West-based work. The role involves installing and commissioning Solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging systems on customer sites, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 electrical qualification / NVQ, 18th Edition, and proven hands-on renewable installation experience, including testing and fault-finding.

Qualifications

• Level 3 electrical qualification / NVQ or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Strong Solar PV installation experience.
• Battery storage experience.
• EV charger installation experience.
• Good testing and fault‑finding ability.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness.
• Professional customer‑facing approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Solar PV systems on customer sites.
• Install battery energy storage systems.
• Install EV charging equipment.
• Complete associated electrical installation works.
• Test, inspect and certify installations.
• Fault finding and remedial work as required.
• Ensure installations meet current electrical regulations.
• Work safely and professionally within customer properties.
• Coordinate with wider installation and technical teams.
• Support other renewable technologies where required.
