Page Personnel is seeking an Interim Procurement Officer based in the North West for a 3-month assignment in the public sector, paying up to £300 per day (Inside IR35). You will manage end-to-end procurement, ensure regulatory compliance and collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective procurement strategies.

The successful candidate will bring procurement experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent negotiation and documentation skills to support continuous improvement and value

Formación

• Experience in procurement, ideally within the public sector.
• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple procurement projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering and contract award.
• Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop strategies.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate terms to achieve value for money.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
• Provide advice and support on procurement best practices to colleagues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.
