Job summary

Mech Electrics Limited is seeking a Passive Fire Stopping Manager to lead growth in the North West. You will build client relationships, identify opportunities, support quotations and tender processes, and manage passive fire projects end-to-end.

You’ll coordinate labour and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with fire safety standards. Ideal candidates will have passive fire experience, strong communication skills, and a commercial mindset, with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience within the passive fire protection industry.
• Good technical knowledge of fire stopping systems.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• An eye for identifying business opportunities and developing client relationships.
• A willingness to learn and work within an established, successful way of operating.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Building and developing relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identifying opportunities for passive fire works within existing and new projects.
• Supporting quotations, tenders and project delivery.
• Managing passive fire projects through to completion.
• Coordinating labour and subcontractors where required.
• Carrying out client meetings and site visits.
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with current fire safety standards and company procedures.
• Working closely with the established North East team, following proven systems and processes.
