Job summary

Eliquo Hydrok Ltd seeks an experienced Manager – Manufacturing Operations (North) to lead the Barnsley facility and North Region operations. You will drive safe, efficient production to meet quality, cost and delivery targets while aligning planning, governance and resources with business priorities.

The role requires senior operations experience, ERP proficiency, budget management and a track record of continuous improvement in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: qualification in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, operations management or related discipline, or equivalent senior experience.
• Operational leadership experience in manufacturing/engineered-product environment.
• Proven track record delivering continuous improvement and managing budgets, resources and metrics.
• Experience with ERP, data reporting and planning for informed decision-making.
• Experience in regulated environments and ISO management systems (ISO 9001/14001/45001).
• Experience in low-volume, high-complexity, project-based manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end North Region Manufacturing Operations execution.
• Oversee production planning, capacity management and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, regulatory and health & safety requirements.
• Maintain ERP discipline, visual management and forecasting for decision-making.
• Manage facilities, plant and equipment for safe, compliant operations.
• Communicate performance, priorities and major announcements to workforce.
• Plan and manage the departmental annual operating budget within authority.
