Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our North East engineering team, covering Newcastle, Durham, Stockton-on-Tees and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain and fault-find across fire and security systems in commercial, industrial and residential premises.

The role offers £30,000–£40,000 basic salary with realistic £50,000–£60,000 OTE, a company vehicle and travel paid, and a full benefits package including pension and tools.

Qualifications

• Experience across a range of fire and security systems.
• Experience with manufacturers such as Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Advanced, Kentec, Ziton, C-TEC, Hikvision and Paxton.
• Comfortable working independently, fault-finding on site and dealing with customers.
• A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control.
• Attend reactive maintenance and fault-finding visits and carry out repairs.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Travel across the North East and surrounding areas.
• Complete service reports and relevant job documentation.
• Provide a professional service to customers and represent the company positively on site.
• Work independently while upholding high standards of workmanship, health & safety and compliance.
