Job summary

Extension Recruitment is seeking a Fire and Security Service Engineer for a field-based role covering sites across the North East. You will service, test, and repair fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems, ensuring high standards of safety and customer service.

Based from Stockton-on-Tees with travel to customer sites, the role offers a permanent, full-time contract with a salary of 35,000 to 45,600 per annum. Full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Experience working on fire and security systems.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of relevant industry standards and safe working practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Fault finding, testing, and repair of Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Supporting minor upgrades, modifications, and remedial works.
• Providing professional customer support and technical advice whilst on site.
