Job summary

Forestry England is seeking a Marketing & Communications Officer (North) to promote the district’s image and visitor engagement. You will be a custodian of our visual and written content and help deliver the North District’s Marketing and Communications strategy.

The role involves telling the story of forests and their benefits for climate, nature, people and the economy, creating engaging content across district activities and supporting recreation, ecology, heritage and estates projects.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enhance the district’s image, increasing its visibility and encouraging people to visit forests.
• Be custodian of visual and written content and champion the district’s diverse work.
• Support the delivery of the Marketing and Communications strategy for North District.
• Tell the story of the nation’s forests and the benefits they provide for climate, nature, people and the economy.
• Create engaging content to support and promote activities district-wide.
