As part of our growth initiatives, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Manager in our Healthcare Division. Reporting to the Global Sales Manager, the North American Sales Manager will be responsible for quickly establishing and overseeing the sales strategy for all healthcare products, developing business by creating lasting relationships with new customers and ensuring the business meets its strategic objectives for growth and profitability within North America. Extensive domestic and occasional international travel of up to 100% is expected.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow business within assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Develop and effectively deliver customer presentations and demonstration of products.
  • Maintain positive and effective customer relations within assigned territory, including complaint management and resolution.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Recommend changes to products and marketing materials to improve competitive and market positioning.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting of sales activity and status of pipeline in CRM.
  • Assist in planning of conferences, exhibitions, and seminars in territory.
  • Represent assigned products at trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Business or related field.
  • 3+ years of medical sales or applications of medical or scientific instrumentation preferably in stereotactic neurosurgical field with emphasis on robotics and its application in neurosurgery.
  • Experience with large complex organizations navigating through the sales process and negotiating win/win outcomes.
  • This position may require the use of, and access to, ITAR controlled data. The applicant must demonstrate eligibility to use and access such ITAR controlled data. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws.
  • Suitable immunization history to qualify being in an operating room.

Education and Experience:

  • Technical experience in medical devices.
  • Experience establishing a network of stereotactic neurosurgical customers.
  • Ability to confidently educate and train users on technical applications.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience in Operating room environment or clinical setting.

Compensation Range (Annual)

  • Up to $140,000(depending on level and location)
