Modo Energy seeks a Nordic Market Analyst to cover Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway. You will publish research on Nordic BESS revenues and market design, then evolve benchmarks into a product and integrate Nordic data into forecast models.

You’ll work with the Germany+ team and European forecasting, focusing on data pipelines, automation, and public-facing market expertise across the Nordics.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of relevant experience in power markets, energy analytics, data, or a technical analyst role.
• Ability to work in Python and SQL, interrogate complex datasets, and learn new tools quickly.
• Familiarity with battery energy storage or wider energy transition themes.
• Strong writing skills and ability to publish clear, concise research.
• Willingness to own a market with minimal scaffolding and guide stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Train Ko, our AI analyst, on the Nordics by ingesting datasets and building sample queries.
• Publish research on Nordic BESS revenues, buildouts, and market design to establish Modo Energy as a reference.
• Map and automate data sources (e.g., Svenska kraftnät, Fingrid, Energinet, Nord Pool, EPEX SPOT, ENTSO-E).
• Build a grid-scale BESS asset and capacity register for the region (operational, under construction, pipeline).
• Develop Nordic benchmarks and deploy them to customers via the Modo Energy Terminal.
• Collaborate with the European forecast team to include Nordic markets in forecast products.
• Be the Nordic market expert in customer calls and build a public profile in the region.
