Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to support a major data centre construction project with Nordic scope. The role combines UK-based duties with significant travel to Norway or Finland as needed.

You will lead the EHS and security plan implementation, ensure site procedures protect workers and the public, and drive continuous improvement through audits, inspections, and performance monitoring.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in an EHS Manager role on major construction projects.
Data centre/technology project experience is preferred but not essential.
Experience in consultancy, general contractor or client-side environments.

Responsibilities

Provide direction and support for implementation of the EHS & Security Plan.
Verify that site-specific EHS procedures protect personnel and the public.
Hold line management accountable for EHS management system implementation and performance.
Encourage proactive involvement of all personnel in the EHS program.
Oversee EHS performance on the project/site.
Review incident records and ensure timely closure of follow-up actions.
Investigate incidents involving personal injuries and ensure proper closure of actions.
Participate in audits and weekly site inspections and ensure action closures.
Monitor Arcadis and contractor EHS performance indicators and site reports.
Conduct performance evaluations including personal EHS involvement.
