Job Description:

The Role:

Euroclear is seeking to recruit a Tandem System Engineer to provide technical solutions to the business. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Tandem NonStop Engineer, a natural problem solver capable of working with both systems and security aspects of the platform.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure HP Non-Stop Tandem platform is successfully integrated and operated within the company’s environment.
2. Support deployment of applications across test, pre-production, and production environments.
3. Provide second and third level support to Operations and Business units.
4. Install and test new releases/products like IBM MQ, Python, NonStop Webserver, Batch.
5. Manage NonStop Security and network configurations.
6. Manage databases (SQL/MP and SQL/MX).
7. Analyze system and application performance.
8. Participate in major projects (Stilton, ORT, DC 2+2, SCF, etc.).
9. Train new team members on Tandem technology.

Note: This role is based in Cracow, Brussels, or London, with Watch Duty On Call support outside business hours from 18:00 to 8:00 on a rotational basis.

Requirements:

1. Experience with NonStop environments.
2. Strong knowledge of System Administration, Network Guardian, and OSS.
3. Proficiency with NonStop Infrastructure and tools: RDF/TMF/SCF/Pathway/Safeguard/DSM/SCM/MQSeries, SQL & SQL/MX, XMA, XUA, XCM, SSHCOM, ODBC, ITPWeb.
4. Deep understanding of performance analysis (Measure, SQL explain plan).
5. Ability to learn new ICT technologies and share knowledge.
6. Attention to standards and detail-oriented approach.
7. Good interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
