This is an exciting time as we make changes to the way we deliver treatment to enhance the care for our patients who are living with and beyond cancer through direct on-site support, which will enhance patient experience, promote continuity, strengthen communication, and enable timely assessment and review of individual needs.
The postholder will work as an autonomous practitioner and provide direct support to patients receiving NSO outpatient care away from their usual, local hospital, identifying and addressing any supportive care needs.
The team is based at Weston Park Cancer Centre, but you will be expected to work flexibly across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw; therefore, you must be a car driver/owner with a full UK driving licence. The successful registered nurse will require substantial post-registration experience and must demonstrate experience working with patients living with and beyond cancer.

This vacancy is advertised on a fixed-term contract basis for 12 months due to external funding. The contract's continuation will be reviewed based on funding and organizational needs.
