We are currently seeking a talented Independent Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to work within our community-based substance use services in the City of London and Hackney.
The service is delivered in partnership with Mind CHWF and London Friend, emphasizing partnership working to support the local community. We deliver treatment and support across neighborhoods, adopting a holistic and inclusive approach to recovery.
As an NMP Nurse or Pharmacist Prescriber, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals experiencing difficulties related to drugs and alcohol use. You will work with clients to develop personalized, flexible, and realistic support packages to facilitate their recovery.

As a community-based Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber, your responsibilities will include managing opiate substitute treatments, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications. You will be part of the wider Wellbeing Team, supporting nursing staff with Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations, and collaborating closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services. You will also contribute to building a collaborative approach that strengthens ties between Turning Point and external professionals and agencies.
We are looking for a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our established team in City and Hackney. You should be an excellent communicator with the ability to develop creative, flexible, and tailored support packages for individuals. A genuine interest in helping people with diverse needs, along with empathy, understanding, and patience, are essential qualities for this role.
