Job Title: Non-Financial Risk Manager – Legal Portfolio Oversight

Location: London, United Kingdom

Corporate Title: Vice President

The Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM), an independent 2nd Line of Defence function, aims to ensure that the bank's non-financial risk exposure is managed in line with the group-wide risk appetite and NFRM framework.

You will join the NFR Portfolio Risk Management team, focusing on proactive oversight of the bank’s NFR group risk profile. The team includes NFR Group Governance, Reporting, Insights, and Risk Manager Coverage. As the Legal Portfolio Oversight Risk Manager, you will oversee Legal Loss Outflows driven by various non-financial risk types.

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor Legal Loss Outflows at the Group Risk Profile level
  • Lead group-level reviews and collaborate across teams to identify and address risks
  • Provide updates for quarterly and annual risk reporting
  • Assist in preparing senior management materials and presentations
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders within NFRM and across the bank
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the team

Skills and experience

  • Understanding of Non-Financial Risk Management principles, with relevant experience in risk roles or audit
  • Knowledge of Legal provisions related to risk and capital processes
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with excellent organizational skills
  • Team player with a proactive approach and independence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
