North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC) is seeking to appoint two exceptional individuals to join our Board as Non-Executive Directors (NEDs). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the delivery of high-quality, compassionate healthcare services across our region.

Requirements: To be considered, you must reside in Cumbria, Lancashire, North East England, or Yorkshire.

NCIC provides hospital and community health services to over 320,000 people across more than 2,600 square miles, from Carlisle to Kendal, and along the Cumbrian coast to the North Pennines. We deliver over 70 services at 15 main locations and employ over 6,500 staff.

The Roles

We are seeking two values-driven and inspiring individuals with different skill sets:

• Role 1: Transformation: A candidate with a proven track record in leading significant organisational transformation or change in a commercial setting.
• Role 2: Procurement: An individual with extensive experience in senior strategic leadership in procurement and contract management.

For both roles, candidates should have:

• Board level or equivalent experience in a large, complex organization
• Understanding of organizational and culture change management in a dynamic environment
• Leadership experience in diverse organizational decision-making
