  • Contribute to the development of business strategy.
  • Assist in the setting of key performance measurements and review commercial progress and prospects across the business.
  • Assist in the positive revision of procedures and processes, and support the mission and vision of the business.
  • Review all Board materials ahead of meetings and complete any assigned actions effectively and in due time.
  • Deputise as Chair of the Board if required.
  • Review monthly management accounts and financial forecasts.
  • Vote on proposals and recommendations from time to time including, but not limited to, the approval of the company's Net Asset Valuation.
  • Review and approve statutory accounts, prospectuses, policies and other key matters including ESG proposals.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities agreed with the Board from time to time.

Strategic Advisory Responsibilities:

  • Advise on opportunities and consider proposals for revenue streams including partnerships, events, advertising, and tactical business development initiatives.
  • Leverage networks to introduce potential strategic partners, key clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the development of innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Mentor senior leaders in marketing, sales and growth strategy, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Non-Executive Director, Board Advisor or in a senior strategic leadership role within organisations aligned to Triple Point’s core services.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with an understanding of sustainability initiatives, lending compliance, business development, sales and marketing.
  • Financial literacy, with experience reviewing management accounts, auditing practices and corporate finance.
  • Previous experience in relevant industries is highly desirable (such as financial services, asset finance, leasing, or SME lending – particularly from within a large corporate environment).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to constructively challenge and support the executive team.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, regulatory compliance and risk management best practices.
  • Strong commitment to ethical leadership, diversity and inclusion.
  • Experience in lending compliance and sustainable finance will be particularly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with financial regulatory standards (e.g., FCA, PRA) and strong understanding of credit frameworks.
  • Experience in embedding sustainability principles within business strategy and/or ensuring regulatory compliance in lending operations.
  • Experience participating in or chairing board committees (such as Audit, Risk, or Credit Committees).
