At Plus Dane Housing we own over 13,000 homes across Cheshire and Merseyside, providing a home to over 30,000 customers. Alongside these homes, we also offer much needed support, advice and services to help customers live comfortably in their homes or to enrich their lives. We are now in the midst of delivering our 2024-27 Corporate Plan and looking for two new Non-Executive Directors with exceptional leadership skills to join our Board.
The first addition to our Board will be a professional with significant experience of strategic decision making regarding investment in our assets. It will be essential to bring insight and knowledge to support asset planning and the journey to meet our environmental sustainability targets, as well as experience of a comparably regulated sector.
Our second new Non-Executive Director will have a track record and passion for innovation, someone who understands the future digital and technological landscape and how, as a housing provider, we can make the most of it to deliver even more for our customers. For this role, we are looking for candidates who bring broad strategic oversight of the digital, technology, cyber security and AI agendas in a customer-facing organisation such as ours.
To join our Board, you will not only need to understand (or quickly grasp) what good governance looks like, but also the legal requirements of a non-executive role in a highly regulated environment where opportunities are carefully balanced with the risks. We commit to training and developing our Non-Executive Directors, as well as providing opportunities to get involved in specific projects which will shape our future direction and positively impact our colleagues and customers.
