MJ Engineering Inspection Services is seeking a full-time NDT Technician - MT2 to join our team based in Welshpool, Western Australia. This is a crucial role within our mining, resources and energy services, contributing to the safety and performance of our client's critical assets.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) on a variety of mining and industrial equipment using magnetic particle inspection (MT2) techniques
  • Analysing test results and providing detailed reports to clients
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all testing and inspection activities
  • Collaborating with engineers and other technical specialists to identify and resolve asset integrity issues
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to maintain and enhance technical expertise

What we're looking for

  • Experience as an NDT Technician, with a focus on magnetic particle inspection (MT2)
  • Formal qualifications in NDT which are ISO9712 compliant (NOT ASNT)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret test results and provide technical recommendations
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to client sites as required
