Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Joining our national Construction team as a non-contentious construction lawyer, working on diverse projects across sectors like retail, energy, and finance. This role offers high-quality, complex work, and opportunities to develop expertise in construction and engineering contracts.

You will work closely with partners and colleagues across the firm, gaining broad experience and sector knowledge. The team has a national approach, so your base location is flexible but Southampton is preferred.

We invest in your career development, providing mentorship, client contact, and early responsibilities. You will also be involved in business development activities, networking, and marketing, fostering relationships within the business community.

Compliance with information security and firm policies is essential.

This role is suitable for you if:

You have talent, ambition, and a strong interest in non-contentious construction law. You might have some experience managing work independently or several years of experience, potentially joining as an Associate.
