LOCATION: Milton Keynes

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Construction solicitor to specialise in transactional matters based in Milton Keynes.

Construction Solicitor –

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Construction solicitor to specialise in transactional construction matters with an established and dynamic team based in a choice of locations. This role focuses on the non-contentious matters such as engineering contracts, JCTs and NEC/ICCs amongst other matters. The successful solicitor will have a genuine understanding of the construction industry and perhaps have a construction background before entering into the legal profession. This position would suit a candidate who has the ability to develop and maintain new business leads and play an integral role in the business development of the department. This will include networking, attending seminars and contributing marketing content such as articles. This is a hand’s on role where strong experience is essential ideally a solicitor with five years PQE or more, with the ability to work unsupervised with minimal secretarial support. This is an excellent opportunity with a dynamic practice that offer excellent progression opportunities for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate
  • A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of five years PQE or more and hold a clean and current practicing certificate.
  • A genuine interest in the construction industry is essential, and professional contacts to bring with them is desirable but not essential
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to work effectively as a member of the team and on their own initiative.
  • Be a confident Networker and happy to promote the department and themselves at events
  • IT literate and proficient in the use of all Microsoft office applications.
