Job summary

Leading law firm in London seeks a Non-Contentious Construction Associate with 2-6 years PQE to join a dynamic, top-tier construction team. You will handle non-contentious construction matters from a real estate perspective, engaging with developers, investors and stakeholders in a collaborative environment.

You will work alongside highly rated Partners in a culture that values excellence, progression, and innovation, with hybrid working 2-3 days in the office per week and extensive training

Qualifications

• 2-6 years PQE in non-contentious construction law (preferably from a top-tier real estate/construction law firm).
• Strong technical skills in non-contentious construction and solid understanding of the UK real estate sector.
• Excellent communicator with strong client relationship-building abilities.
• Proactive approach to business development and a desire to contribute to department growth.
• Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision and high responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate construction documentation, including development agreements, consultant appointments, building contracts, letters of intent, warranties and more.
• Provide legal advice across the lifecycle of real estate projects from inception to completion.
• Manage client relationships and handle complex instructions directly and effectively.
