The Role:

An exciting opportunity for a Non-Contentious Construction Associate (2+ years PQE) to join a busy construction team in Exeter. The successful candidate will work on international, national, and regional matters, focusing on non-contentious construction and infrastructure work.

This role involves advising on residential and commercial developments, renewable energy projects, urban regeneration schemes, financing arrangements, joint ventures, operation/maintenance/service contracts, and facilities management. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts such as NEC, JCT, FIDIC, and bespoke agreements.

The firm’s collaborative approach means you'll work directly with clients and have high responsibility on significant transactions, supporting your career development. There are also opportunities to contribute to business development and expand your professional network.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Non-Contentious Construction Associate (2+ years PQE)
  • Experience in construction or infrastructure law, including risk reviews, drafting, and negotiating contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC)
