About the firm & Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Construction Solicitor to join a thriving non-contentious construction team based in Leeds. This role offers the chance to work with a high-quality, loyal client base that includes developers, contractors, and major corporate and commercial clients.
You'll be given the autonomy to manage relationships and become a key point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external clients, working on complex and high-value matters across the sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded, commercially focussed law firm with a true value on internal and external working relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate a wide range of construction documents including building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, and related agreements.
  • Advise clients on procurement strategies, project structuring, and risk allocation.
  • Provide specialist construction input on cross-departmental matters, particularly in real estate, banking, and corporate transactions.
  • Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and trainees, contributing to their development and knowledge-sharing.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and actively participate in business development initiatives.


About you:
The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 4-8 years' post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law.
  • Strong technical skills with both standard form and bespoke construction documents.
