We are working with a leading international law firm looking to appoint a Construction & Engineering Solicitor to join its highly regarded practice in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Construction & Engineering Solicitor looking to join a market-leading team and gain exposure to major UK and international projects across energy, renewables, utilities, data centres and infrastructure.

The Manchester team is experiencing a particularly strong period of growth and has an impressive pipeline of work, advising an exceptional client base including FTSE 100 utilities, major energy companies, airport operators, developers, funds, contractors and public sector organisations.

The Opportunity

You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of high-value and complex projects, including:

• Major offshore wind and solar projects
• Green hydrogen and wider energy transition projects
• Power and utilities projects
• Data centre developments
• Airports and major infrastructure projects
• Major regeneration programmes
• Residential, office, retail, leisure, hotel and mixed-use developments
• Complex UK and international development projects
• Project finance and development structures

From a technical perspective, you will gain exposure to JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts, alongside procurement, development structures and project finance.

You will work closely with highly regarded Partners and senior lawyers, advising sophisticated clients on some of the market's most significant projects and benefiting from the firm's wider network of leading specialists.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a Construction & Engineering Solicitor with strong experience in complex construction matters and a genuine interest in developing their career within a leading practice.

You will ideally have experience across areas such as:

• Construction contracts and procurement
• JCT, NEC and/or FIDIC
• Energy and infrastructure projects
• Development projects
• Project finance
• Major regeneration and complex construction projects

You will be commercially minded, technically strong and keen to work on high-quality matters for an impressive client base.
