Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Node.js Developer for a 6-month contract based in Bristol, onsite 3 days a week. You will focus on backend development, building scalable APIs and real-time data streams in AWS.

The role emphasises event-driven architectures, microservices, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Start ASAP and expect 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Experience building APIs and microservices.
Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, or similar streaming technologies.
Strong understanding of event-driven architectures.
Hands-on AWS experience.
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD and modern development practices.

Responsibilities
